Maddison was adopted today by a nice young couple. Hopefully Autumn will find her new home soon.

Trauma at PetSmart

I always knew that giving up my foster kittens would be hard but I never imagined how hard it would be to put them in a cage at PetSmart. There was a lot of commotion and dogs barking around our cat cages when I got there with Maddison and Autumn. They were terrified when I put them in the cage and stayed at the back of the cage the whole time I was there. They had no idea what was going on and every time I went over to comfort them, I'd start to cry. Not a good situation. I know the idea is to find them new homes but being out in the open at the back of the store is not the answer. I'll have to stay away from PetSmart for a while and try to develop a thicker skin, although I don't think that's going to happen.
